Governance

At the top of the ACS structure is the ACS Management Committee which, within the bounds set by the Associations Incorporations Act (ACT) and the Society’s Objects, Rules and National Regulations, controls and manages the Society. ACS Management Committee consists of the National Office Bearer’s (President, three Vice Presidents, President – Elect, Immediate Past President, National Treasurer) as well as the Chief Executive Officer and four National Congressional Representatives.

Working with the Management Committee to drive the Society’s strategic priorities are three Advisory Boards: Profession Advisory Board; Technical Advisory Board, and Membership Advisory Board. The Advisory Boards configure the activities within its area of responsibility, including creating, monitoring and dissolving committees, sub-committees, and taskforces/projects to meet ACS priorities.
