Mahad is a cybersecurity specialist helping keep Queensland’s digital spaces safe, responding to incidents, strengthening defences and supporting industries from agriculture to fisheries as they digitise.
But Mahad really put his skills to work while supporting the IT service desk. The diverse responsibilities, consistent context shifting and working with people from across the organisation turned knowledge into skill. With time, a dedication to learning and a good portfolio, Mahad was able to move on from the service desk, but he’ll never forget his roots.
