The Sustainability Committee within the Australian Computer Society (ACS) is committed to advancing sustainable practices and responsible innovation across the technology sector in Australia. Bringing together experienced professionals, academics, and industry leaders, the committee provides thought leadership and guidance on the role technology can play in supporting environmental, social, and economic sustainability outcomes.

In a rapidly evolving digital landscape, the ACS Sustainability Committee promotes the responsible use of technology to address global and local sustainability challenges. The committee focuses on encouraging sustainable IT practices, reducing the environmental impact of digital infrastructure, and supporting initiatives that align technological advancement with long-term societal benefit.

Cindy Chung

Cindy Chung is a seasoned IT professional with expertise in service management, systems architecture, and data management. She is the 2024 Chair of the ACS NSW Branch Executive Committee, having previously served as Vice Chair in 2023 and Director of the ACS Membership Advisory Board (2021–2022).

Divya Sulochana

Divya is a digital business and enterprise strategist with over 15 years’ experience advising public sector and enterprise clients on technology‑enabled transformation across Australia and the Middle East. With a background spanning program leadership and C‑suite advisory roles, she brings deep industry expertise in ICT strategy, program and portfolio delivery across NSW Government and Energy and Resources sectors.

Richard Godsmark

Richard Godsmark is a seasoned ICT leader with nearly 30 years of experience, including 23 years in the Canadian higher education sector. He currently serves as Director of Enterprise Enabling Systems at CQUniversity, where he leads strategic initiatives in IT governance, enterprise systems, and digital transformation.
