Mr Jerome Chiew MACS Snr CP

Jerome is a Curtin University graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce in Information Technology and embarked on his career in the healthcare sector in 2004, as the IT manager for a pharmacy group. In 2010, he founded Critical IT, a specialized IT services company focused on supporting primary care and allied health providers. With over 20 years of experience, he ensures compliance with health regulations, standards, and policies. Jerome also contributes to the community as a committee member at Cura In-Home Care, an approved not for profit Aged Care Services Provider. Additionally, he dedicates time to mentoring high school students through EdConnect and guiding emerging IT professionals within the ACS.
Prof. Anna Shillabeer MACS CP

Anna has a PhD in computer science (health informatics) with a strong research background in health, cross cultural education, access and equity in healthcare, technology policy and governance, industry integration and more recently mental health and neurodiversity in the technology sector. Anna has over 12 years experience as a senior higher education leader both in Australia and overseas. She spent 4.5 years working in Viet Nam followed by 18 months as an independent higher education quality assurance expert who designed and built a QA framework for all of Viet Nam’s medical universities. Anna has significant experience in leading and conducting accreditation for higher education providers and in designing innovative and high performing higher education degrees and certification short courses with industry integration. She firmly believes that modern universities should be the centre of transformative, creative thinking, problem solving and capability building and this can only be achieved through open, integrated and equitable conversations with industry and community stakeholders. Anna is a registered company director, has previously owned her own start-ups and been engaged as a health and higher education consultant with EY.

I have been a member of ACS for over 16 years and an active member of the SA Branch Executive Committee (BEC), representing the SA BEC on National Congress from 2023 - 2025. I am a MACS (Snr) CP, IP3P, and have completed the SFIA Certification assessment, achieving SFIA Level 7. I am the Founder and former Managing Director/Owner of Academy IT, a Microsoft and AWS training partner and Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering nationally accredited courses at Certificate III to Diploma of IT.

Dr. Geethani Nair is a distinguished leader in Vocational Education and Training (VET), currently serving as the Director of VET at Western Sydney University, The College. Her extensive experience includes roles such as Head of Technology & Business Services SkillsPoint at TAFE NSW and Chief Innovation Officer at the Digital Skills Organisation. Dr. Nair holds a Doctor of Education and a Master of Information Technology, among other qualifications. As a committed researcher and advocate, her contributions have significantly shaped educational strategies and policies in the Technology and Vocational Education sectors.
Ms Sharon Singh FACS

Sharon Singh is the Head of e-Learning and Innovation at St Johns Anglican College, Australia. An experienced educator and leader in IT and Computer Science for more than 20 years, she has worked in Fiji, Hong Kong, New Zealand, and South Korea. Her experience includes a senior project officer at Education QLD, an examiner for the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO); IB DP, MYP, and PYP; North American Advanced Placement (AP); Cambridge IGCSE; and the Australian Curriculum. With her passion for innovation, Sharon proactively provides thought leadership and commentary on Technology and Computer Science education for educators globally. She is the Australian Member Representative to the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) TC 3 (Education) and the Secretary to IFIP TC3 Executive Committee; the chair of the ACS MAB ICT Educators Committee; a board member of QSITE, and a CSIRO STEM professional. Sharon is a recipient of a 2021 Peter Doherty Excellence in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Education award; a 2021 finalist for the Queensland College of Teachers TEACHX Innovation in Teaching Award, a 2019 ACS Gold Disruptor award for ICT Educator of the Year; and is a gold medallist of the University of the South Pacific (USP). She is a Queensland Justice of Peace (Qualified) and an international faculty for Haggai International.
