Recruitment Agency
If your employment has been obtained through a recruitment agency, your employer reference letter must be completed by the employer company the agency contracted you into (Host company). The reference must be provided by a supervisor/manager that witnessed or supervised your work and key deliverables.
ACS makes the following distinctions:
Recruitment Agency: This refers to agencies that place candidates in temporary or contract roles within other companies. These agencies act as intermediaries, matching job seekers with opportunities and managing the initial hiring.
Host Company: This is the organisation where the applicant undertakes their work responsibilities. Your supervisor/manager at the Host Company will be providing you with an employer reference letter to confirm your roles, tasks and key achievements in the employer reference letter.
Payment evidence such as payslips, can be accepted when issued by the recruitment agency.

To receive a successful ACS Migration Skills Assessment, ACS needs to verify my applied skills, knowledge, and employment history.
You are receiving this letter as you have been my employer at some point in time.
I kindly request your cooperation in providing a reference letter for my role held with your organisation. This reference letter will play a crucial role for ACS in their assessment of my work experience.

Employment Reference Requirements
To ensure each employment episode is ready for assessment, please provide an employment reference letter for each relevant employer. This must be on the company letterhead and be signed and dated by an authorised person from the company (digital signatures are preferred and must be provided with a digital verification certificate that authenticates the signer’s identity). If you cannot obtain an employment reference or are self-employed, you will need to submit a Statutory Declaration or Affidavit.

Documents in a language other than English will need to be translated.
PLEASE DO NOT upload employment contracts, offer letters, appointment letters or position descriptions as they are not assessable and may delay processing of your application.
Attention
ACS will only proceed with an assessment once we have screened and verified the full suite of documents within the application. It is the responsibility of the migrant to provide true and accurate evidence and information when applying for an Australian visa, including all skills assessment activities as well as any documentation supplied by a representative or migration agent.
Document formatting
The original documents to be uploaded in your application may be paper-based or electronic and must be formatted as per the table.

Upload original high-quality colour scans (at least 300 dpi). Scan all documents at the same resolution (dpi).

Upload original files.

Ensure all the edges are visible so that the document does not look cropped.

If documents are digitally signed, do not combine them with any other document.

Consolidate all pages into one PDF document for each qualification.

If original PDFs are password-protected for reading, then attach a separate PDF document with a table containing file names and passwords.
