Thank you for choosing our consultation service. By booking and paying for this service, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:   

 

Service Description: Our AppAssist service is a 30-minute one-on-one consultation with a qualified Migration Skills Assessment expert who will provide general information about the Migration Skills Assessment, including assisting you with your queries regarding the assessment. The consultation will take place via video conferencing.  

 

Consultation Topics: During the consultation, your assigned Migration Skills Assessment expert will discuss the migration skills assessment process and documentation requirements. The call will not discuss and no advice will be given regarding selection of ANZSCO codes or an applicant's suitability for assessment. ACS reserves the right to decline to discuss any topics that are beyond the scope of our expertise, or which are illegal or unethical. Our AppAssist service is independent of our Migration Skills Assessment and does not in any way affect the application outcome.  

The Migration Skills Assessment outcome is final and cannot be contested based on information provided from a ACS AppAssist consultation.   

 

Cancellation Policy: Once you book and have paid for the consultation service, no refunds will be issued in the event of cancellation. Applicants can reschedule the consultation by giving us at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled time. If you fail to attend the consultation or do not provide us with sufficient notice, you will not be eligible for a rescheduled consultation or a refund.   

 

Payment: Payment for the consultation service must be made in advance using the payment methods provided on our website. Payment must be made in full before a consultation can be scheduled.   

 

Privacy & Confidentiality: We take your privacy and confidentiality seriously. Any information that you share with us during the consultation will be kept confidential and will not be shared with any third party without your prior consent, except where required by law. This also means any information you provide to our expert will not be shared with our Migration Assessment Service.  Further details regarding our approach to privacy are set out in ACS’ privacy policy (available at https://www.acs.org.au/privacy-policy.html).  

 

Liability: Our consultation service is provided for general information about the Migration Skills Assessment process and documentation only. We do not accept any liability for any loss or damage that may arise as a result of your use of our consultation service, or any information provided during the consultation.   

 

Changes to Terms and Conditions: We reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to check these terms and conditions regularly for any updates or changes.   

  

Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.  

Q: What is the AppAssist service?  

The AppAssist service is a 30-minute consultation with an ACS Skills Assessment Expert to help with any queries related to the ACS assessment process and documentation requirements. The consultation can take place via video conferencing.  

 

Q: What topics can be discussed during the consultation?   

During the consultation, you can only discuss any topics related to ACS skills assessment process and documentation. However, we reserve the right to decline to discuss any topics that are beyond the scope of our expertise, illegal or unethical.   

 

Q: Can the consultation affect the outcome of my ACS Skills Assessment application?   

No. The AppAssist consultation service is independent of our assessment service and does not in any way affect the application outcome. Any reference to the AppAssist service is only for quality assessment purposes.  

 

Q: What is the cancellation policy for the consultation service?   

Once you book and pay for the consultation service, no refunds will be issued in case of cancellation. The AppAssist consultation is a paid service. Payment for the consultation service must be made in advance using the payment methods provided on our website. Payment must be made in full before the consultation can be scheduled.  

 

Q: How is my privacy and confidentiality protected during the consultation?   

We take your privacy and confidentiality seriously. Any information that you share with us during the consultation will be kept confidential and will not be shared with any third party without your prior consent, except where required by law. This also means any information shared with the expert is of no consideration in the final application.  

 

Q: Can I contest the outcome of my ACS Skills Assessment based on the AppAssist consultation provided?   

No. The ACS Skills Assessment service outcome is final and cannot be contested based on the AppAssist consultation provided.  

 

Q: What if I am not satisfied with the consultation provided?  

If you are not satisfied with the consultation, please let us know as soon as possible. We take feedback seriously and will do our best to address your concerns. However, please note that we do not offer refunds for unsatisfactory consultations.
