Young Tech Ambassadors

Inspiring the next generation of tech professionals

YTA home hero

The ACS Young Tech Ambassadors (YTA) program is designed to promote tech careers to secondary students, with the goal to increase the number of digital professionals entering the technology workforce in Queensland. This program is proudly supported by the Queensland government’s Advance Queensland.

Our tech ambassadors connect with high school students through class presentations and career expos, sharing their personal journeys into successful tech careers. Their inspiring stories motivate students to explore opportunities in the technology sector.

If they can see it, they can be it

Our relatable young techies are eager to share their rewarding personal and work experiences, and diverse pathways. Through the program, we aim to inspire students during crucial decision-making moments, to help demystify the journey to a job and encourage them to explore rewarding roles in the tech sector.

Register your interest to host a Young Tech Ambassador at your school or to join the program as a YTA and share your story with Queensland students.

"I hadn't really considered a job in tech before but now I can see how awesome it could be!”
