Speakers
She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and her doctoral thesis focused on female maritime lawyers in Australia, why so many women quit the professions and why there are so few female partners. The findings were profound, the legal profession as well as the maritime industry are still highly male dominated environments which make it much harder for women to succeed.
Ivonne remains focused on understanding diversity in a business context and now works hard at creating awareness about the value autistic employees can bring to business. She is committed and passionate about delivering auticon’s mission to improve the employment prospects of autistic people through:
1. Providing high quality careers for skilled autistic adults
2. Shifting perceptions in the workplace by integrating autistic workers in client teams
3. Acting as a catalyst for clients to bring more neurodiversity to their wider workforce
Prior to his current role, David was the Infrastructure and Communications Manager at AusNet, a diversified energy network business, where he oversaw critical IT infrastructure and communication systems. David’s career has been built on a strong foundation of technical knowledge across a broad range of platforms and cloud-native technologies, empowering him to deliver innovative solutions in complex environments.
David’s leadership is defined by his ability to build and guide diverse teams that consistently deliver business outcomes. He possesses a unique combination of consulting, management, and leadership skills, and excels in stakeholder management and communication at all organisational levels. His expertise also extends to vendor management, and he brings strong business, commercial, and budget management capabilities to all his projects. Additionally, David is well-versed in crisis management, with a proven ability to handle high-pressure situations and deliver results under challenging circumstances.
She has worked for ASPECT, Amaze, Autism SA, Positive Partnerships and now auticon, she has a depth of experience in providing valuable advice to both businesses and those on the spectrum about how best to approach employment challenges and how to get the best outcomes.
Meredith is truly passionate about providing a better future for those on the spectrum and communicating the unique and valuable contribution they can make to Australian businesses through building the right opportunities.
He currently serves as the Director of Technology Operations at Bupa, where he has been instrumental in optimising operational processes and leveraging technology to enhance business performance. Patrick also serves as Governor of PanKind, The Australian Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, supporting the foundation's mission to advance pancreatic cancer research and awareness.
With a career that spans diverse industries and functions, Patrick believes in leveraging the professional strengths of his team to deliver impactful results. He first partnered with auticon during his time as Head of Strategy and Innovation at Woolworths and understands the value of diverse teams in driving the best outcomes for IT projects.

Registration
- Payment in full is required the time of booking in order for the registration to be valid.
- To avoid disappointment, ensure you pay for your booking(s) before the registration closing date. Anyone that has not received a confirmation email will not be on the event attendance list and therefore will not be admitted to the event.
- Online registration ends at the time stated on the event details page.
Cancellation and Refund
All cancellations must be processed through the website, a refund will only be considered if it is at least 3 working days prior to the event.
Disclaimer
- ACS reserves the right to change the program at any time. Every effort will be made to ensure a program of equivalent standard and members are updated with changes.
- All dietary requirements are considered, however we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen free environment.
- ACS reserves the right to prohibit entry or eject any person from an ACS event based on behaviour deemed inappropriate by ACS staff, its agents and/or others working under its authority.
- Filming or streaming by attendees is not permitted. If an attendee is found to be doing so they will be asked to leave the event immediately and further action may be taken.
- Photography and/or filming may take place during this event, by accepting these terms you consent to this. Please let a member of ACS know if you do not want your picture taken.
COVID-19 Event Attendance Compliance
By registering to attend an ACS in person event you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions
- If an attendee is displaying flu or cold like symptoms in the days leading up to the event and therefore is not able to attend, ACS will refund the registration fee.
- If an attendee comes to an event and is displaying flu or cold like symptoms they will be asked to leave
- We ask all ACS members to respect the social distancing guidelines, if an attendee repeatedly disregards these guidelines, they may be asked to leave
- ACS reserves the right to cancel the event within 24 hours' notice if either the speaker or the event host has advised us that they are exhibiting flu or cold like symptoms
- All attendees must provide a valid phone number and email address to be contacted on if there is reason to notify about a possible COVID-19 exposure
