ACS WA Launches Australia's Digital Pulse 2016

Australia's Digital Pulse 2016On Wednesday 13 April, ACS WA held the Ministerial Launch of Australia's Digital Pulse for 2016, a flagship report commissioned by the ACS and prepared by Deloitte Access Economics. This is the second edition of Australia's Digital Pulse and for the first time the report includes exclusive data from Linkedin.

The report was launched by Hon. Michael Mischin MLC and followed by an informative presentation into the report by Matt Judkins, Partner at Deloitte Access Economics.

ACS WA Branch Chairman, David Cook FACS CP hosted the event, which was attended by over 50 Senior ICT practitioners from the Education, Industry and Government sectors.

The report outlines the challenges we face in securing the future strength of Australia's digital economy, and identifies how improving the skill mix and workforce diversity will lead to a stronger economy.

The report will be the focus of the next ACS WA Branch Forum, to be held next Tuesday 19th April from 5:30pm at the State Library of WA.
