Final chance to vote for your Victorian Branch Executive Committee

Thursday, 03 Nov 2016

As more nominations have been received than there are vacancies for the 2017 ACS Victorian Branch Executive Committee (BEC), a ballot is now open determine the successful nominees for the following positions:

*    Ordinary Committee Member (eighteen nominees for five positions)

The Branch Executive Committee is made up of volunteers from the profession who devote time, energy and intellect into representing and providing services to the ACS membership in Victoria. The role of the BEC is to build external relationships and advocacy for the ICT profession across all sectors with a core focus on technology. Together, they will ensure that ACS is fit for the future, provide leadership and global positioning and continue to provide relevance to members and stakeholders.

Victorian BEC representatives are elected by you, the members. We encourage you to look at the list of eligible nominees, their statements and carefully consider how they match your vision for ACS in Victoria. All nominees for the 2017 Victorian BEC like yourself, are Victorian ACS members and active across the ICT space.

All eligible members have now been contacted via email with instructions on how to vote.  If you have not received an email, please contact the Returning Officer at acsvic@acs.org.au. Polls close 5:00pm, Friday 11 November, 2016.

Don't miss your opportunity to influence who you believe will best represent ACS Victoria in 2017.

* Please note unfinancial and student members are excluded from voting (NR2.13.4 and NR8.14.7.7)
