The presentation will expose the audience to the scope of big data, in particular, from a project management perspective. 

The audience will gain insights into the business drivers for big data, the challenges facing an organisation and project team with initiating and implementing a big data project such as scope, data sources, people, change management and governance.

This presentation is intended for the following audience:

  • Project managers and solution architects in the early stages of planning a big data implementation
  • Business analysts that liaise with departmental heads/managers who wish to gain insight into issues that can affect adoption/success of a big data platform
  • Business owners considering a big data platform as a solution to solve complex problems within the organisation
