Craig Horne congratulates Maria Markman, incoming ACS Victoria Chair

This week, ACS Victoria announced Ms. Maria Markman as the 2017/18 Victorian Branch Chair for a two-year term.

An active member of the ACS Victoria BEC over the last two years, Ms. Markman brings experience and unbridled passion for supporting members through the values and benefits of the ACS. As Chair of the ACS Women in Victoria committee, Ms. Markman has been instrumental in developing new initiatives that support inclusion and diversity amongst the membership. As an active practitioner in IT, she specialises in application management and has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by professionals working in the IT industry.

As ACS Victoria starts its next phase in finding new and improved ways of engaging with members, attracting and supporting new members, fostering collegiality and promoting the interests of IT professionals in Victoria, Ms. Maria Markman is the ideal leader to champion our cause.
