Introducing Peter O’Halloran, CIO of ACT Health as the October ACS EdXN speaker!

Thursday, 15 Sep 2016

Peter O'Halloran
Peter O’Halloran is the newly appointed Chief Information Officer (CIO) for ACT Health. Named by iTnews as the 2016 CIO of the Year, Peter uses ICT systems to reform and reshape the Australian healthcare sector in a collaborative manner that improves patient outcomes and saves money. These ICT systems are used 24/7 by patients, scientists, nurses, allied health professionals and clinicians to enable health providers, governments and the National Blood Authority to manage a $1.1 billion per annum supply chain.

Join Peter O’Halloran to discuss and debate how he used his background in service design and delivery to implement a transformative user-centric and highly agile approach that led to the successful delivery of a range of highly acclaimed national ICT systems serving the Australian healthcare sector. Discover how the potentially stifling governance structure of answering to nine governments can improve project execution and how you can achieve the same outcomes without navigating nine separate bureaucracies.
