Self-care is vital for everyone, man or woman, young or old, parents or non-parents.
People need to be able to nourish their own tanks whilst also taking care of families and fulfilling workplace obligations. There is no small task; and many new parents, understandably, struggle with this return to the workplace, resulting in their needs falling quickly to the bottom of the list.
During this presentation Martina Hughes will share with you the essentials of self-care for mums, dads and anyone living a busy lifestyle.
Often those who give a lot to others, end up resentful, burnt out and exhausted. When self-care is present, you can feel full and nourished from within and you will know when to give and when to pull back.
