The Go Girl Go for IT showcase inspires the next generation

On Tuesday 16 August, ACS Victoria were proud to be a part of the ‘Go Girl Go for IT’ career showcase at Deakin University in Burwood, attended by an impressive 1700 girls from 65 schools across Victoria. The showcase was a perfect example of how to demonstrate to high school girls the varied and incredible range of career options in IT.

The event involved a number of workshops and presentations and an all-day exhibition area housing sponsors who brought along interactive gear for the girls to explore!

At the ACS Victoria stand, we had virtual reality glasses, laptop stickers and lots of sweets that kept a constant crowd of keen girls at our table throughout the day!

A total of 120 busy, inspirational speakers took the time out of their busy schedule to deliver a key message to girls throughout the day #AnyGirl4IT.
