This session will provide a Chief Information Officer’s perspective on information security for a new and complex organisation – that is a key part of Australia’s health industry.

Graeme Dunn is the Chief Information Officer at the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Graeme’s presentation will highlight organisational context and background – setting the scene and providing an understanding of the complex nature and information managed in this particular environment.

Interestingly, it will also discuss and expand on why Auditors and Risk Managers are your friends and should be viewed as such.

It will provide an understanding of the information security journey for a new organisation from start-up phase through to stabilisation – and what are the next challenges.
