Media Release - Riverpitch puts spotlight on Australia's next generation of entrepreneurs

18 November 2021 – For immediate release

RiverPitch Live, Australia’s leading pitching event for startups, will recommence this year at Lightspace, Brisbane on November 25. For the first time, the event will be live-streamed to a national audience.

Hosted by River City Labs and supported by major sponsors BDO, Sharesource and Amazon Web Services, RiverPitch Live brings Australia’s most promising entrepreneurs and businesses together with Australia’s leading investors.

Backed by ACS, the professional association for Australia’s technology sector, the event places Brisbane at the forefront of the Australian technology boom and has produced over 41 Alumni companies since its 2012 launch.

Investors participating this year include Steve Baxter of Ten13 and many more.

Startups pitching at November’s event include businesses looking to bring their innovations to the following sectors; Cybersecurity , IT Management AI, Wellbeing, PropTech, FinTech, Creative and MedTech.

Past alumni of RiverPitch include; Audeara, the ‘world’s first full fidelity headphones, designed by doctors and engineers’ SiteSee, which uses drone footage and artificial intelligence to map, manage and analyse critical infrastructure projects and Weploy, a digital platform that algorithmically matches jobs with pre-vetted candidates on demand.
