As part of ACS Qld&#39;s <i>IT for Good </i>series, we are honoured to have Dr Jane Thomason present for our members.<br><br>Dr Thomason is an experienced CEO and thought leader in the applications of blockchain technology for social impact. She published peer reviewed articles in 2017, on blockchain and climate finance and the poor and on blockchain as an accelerator for women’s and children’s health.<br><br>Jane is an adviser to several blockchain startups with applications that solve global problems, and is currently working with collaborators to co-develop blockchain POCs in several emerging economies.<br><br>She was recently named in the Top 10 Digital Pioneer Women and was awarded the UN DecadeOfWomen Quantum Impact Champion Award on International Women’s Day in New York.<br><br><br>You can find out more about her on her linked in site. <a href="" target="_blank"></a><br><br>More details about her presentation will be available soon.   1. Your co-operation in notifying us if you are unable to attend is appreciated as ACS incur costs for non-attendance. 
  2. Cancellations must be processed through the website via your ACS member account. A refund will only be considered if it is 5 working days prior to the event. No refunds will be given after the registration closing date.
  3. To avoid disappointment, ensure you pay for your booking(s) (if required) before the registration closing date. Anyone that has not received a confirmation email will not be on the event attendance list and therefore will not be admitted to the event.
  4. ACS reserves the right to change the program at any time. Every effort will be made to ensure a program of equivalent standard and members are updated with changes.
  5. Payment (if required) in full is required by the event date in order to attend.
  6. All dietary requirements are considered and catered to in the best possible way for our members, however we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen free environment.
  7. ACS reserves the right to prohibit entry of any person to an ACS event, or eject any person from an ACS event based on behaviour deemed inappropriate by ACS staff and/or its agents and others working under its authority.
