Alan has worked in both public service at the Treasury and consulting firm at Synergy Group for a total of 7.5 years before founding his own start up, Altina Drinks. During this time, he has seen many diversity and inclusion initiatives in the workplace being championed and some ultimately succeed while others fail. He has tried to learn from these lessons and insights to ensure his start up is built from the ground up with diversity and inclusion in mind.

As a newly minted dad, the concept of diversity and inclusion has needed to be applied beyond the workplace and he is continuously finding that balance between home and work, co-parenting and all while avoiding burn out.
