Nominations results for the 2021 ACS Victoria Branch Executive Committee 2021


At the closing date, 5:00pm Wednesday 28 October 2020, more nominations were received than there are vacancies for the 2021 ACS Victorian Branch Executive Committee. As a result, a ballot is now required under the ACS National Regulations to determine the successful nominees for the following positions.

Chair (2-year term):

Three nominations were received for one position available.

The nominees are:

  • Jo Dalvean MACS Snr CP
  • Richard Magalad MACS Snr CP
  • Susan Sly MACS Snr CP

A ballot is now required to determine the successful nominee.


Vice-Chair (1-year term):

Three nominations were received for one position available. The nominees are:

  • John Pickering MACS
  • Rod Dilnutt FACS CP
  • Susan Sly MACS Snr CP

A ballot is now required to determine the successful nominee.

 

Honorary Secretary (1-year term):

One nomination was received for one position available. The nominee is:

  • John Graham FACS CP

As John Graham is the only nominee, John Graham is declared elected unopposed.


Honorary Treasurer (2-year term):

Two nominations were received for one position available. The nominees are:

  • Cynthia Lee MACS CP
  • Michael Tulip MACS CP

 

Ordinary Committee Members:

Twenty nominations were received for six positions available (three 2-year terms; three 1-year terms) of which John Graham has been elected unopposed as Honorary Secretary, leaving nineteen eligible nominees. They are:

As there are three 2-year terms and three 1-year terms available for Ordinary Committee Member, the three candidates for this position who receive the highest amount of votes will automatically be elected for a two-year term. The following three will be elected for a one-year term.

All eligible members will be contacted via email at close of business Wednesday 4 November with instructions on how to vote. If you do not receive an email, please contact the ACS Victoria Branch Returning Officer at VIC.Returning.Officer@acs.org.au. Polls will close at 5:00pm, Wednesday 25 November 2020.
