ACS Communities are a place for discussion, debate, and conversation between ACS Members.

All posts are recorded and identified with the user identity and name of the member making the post.

All posts are monitored, and posts which are classified as spam, abusive, derogatory, defamatory or in any other way not compliant with the principles of the ACS will be removed. Further action may be taken against members who repeatedly breach this policy.

The ACS is not responsible for the content of posts, other than those posted by the ACS. The opinions contained within posts are not endorsed by ACS, and are the opinions of the individual authors, regardless of whether said author is a member of ACS.

The ACS has not taken any steps to verify the accuracy of any posts of a technical or non-technical nature. Technical or non-technical information derived from this platform should not be relied upon.

Users should ensure that they have the appropriate permission to post content which is not original content. Where you believe that your intellectual property rights have been infringed you should, in the first instance, discuss this with the poster directly. If further action is required, the post can be reported to a moderator.

Users must navigate and interact with the ACS Communities features, functions and information ethically and as presented. Interactions must not be malicious or look to subvert the service provided by ACS.

Moderators may edit or remove posts at any time without first informing the creator of the post. Where a post has been edited a moderator will indicate this under the post.

Images or documents that contain explicit material, offensive material, material likely to offend or offensive language will be removed at ACS’ absolute discretion.

Users should remind themselves of the ACS Code of Ethics which forms part of the ACS membership agreement and extends to the use of the ACS Communities service.

ACS reserves the right update the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) at any time without prior notice. In the event that any changes are made, the revised policy shall be posted on this website immediately.
