About this event

How is Inclusive Technology translating good intentions into real, usable digital experiences?

As digital services become more embedded in everyday life, organisations are under increasing pressure to ensure technology is designed for everyone - not just the 'average' user. Expectations around accessibility, equity and inclusion are rising, yet many products and services still fall short in practice. Inclusive Technology is emerging as a critical approach to closing this gap, helping organisations move beyond intent and embed inclusion into the way technology is designed, delivered and evaluated.

This event explores how inclusive technology is being applied in practice, focusing on the real barriers, trade-offs and design decisions that shape inclusive digital outcomes. Through facilitated discussion and interactive exploration, the session will unpack key focus areas when designing inclusive technology and examine where common approaches succeed and where they fail.

Drawing on practical perspectives from across the tech ecosystem, the session will include a live deconstruction of a common product or service, with panellists collaboratively identifying opportunities to improve accessibility, usability and inclusion.

What you’ll gain:

💡 Practical insights into designing more inclusive digital products and services

💡 A clearer understanding of common barriers and blind spots in inclusive tech design

💡 Perspectives from practitioners challenging traditional approaches to technology

💡 Tools and prompts to help assess products through an inclusion lens

Come for the honest conversation. Stay for the sharp insights. Leave ready to build tech that works for more people.
