About this event

This session explores how Sparc Hydrogen is engineering the transition from lab scale R&D to pilot-scale innovation and looking forward to commercial-ready green hydrogen production. Attendees will gain insight into the technical, operational, and digital systems required to scale hydrogen technologies, including the role of automation, control systems, and data-driven decision-making.

The presentation will unpack Sparc Hydrogen’s unique photocatalysis based water splitting technology and how it differentiates against traditional electrolysis-based production.

It will also talk about the challenges of moving from laboratory success to real world prototyping and onwards to pilot scale demonstration. Commercialization of Sparc Hydrogen’s technology could bring significant value for the future of Australia’s hydrogen economy. The discussion will connect engineering practice with sustainability outcomes, highlighting how emerging technologies are enabling clean energy solutions at scale
