About this event

Drawing on industry examples, the session explores data moving from sensors into a fully integrated technology stack; from measurement, to communication, to structured databases, and finally dashboards.

Designed to be accessible and engaging, this session will help you understand what can be measured, and the challenges of connecting natural physical systems to digital decision-making.

By attending this session, members will:

  • Understand how physical parameters in the natural world are measured and converted into digital data
  • Learn how data flows through multiple systems from collection points to databases and dashboards
  • Gain insight into time-series data and why it’s critical for real-world monitoring and analysis
  • See real-world examples of how integrated data pipelines support better visibility and decision-making
  • Leave with a clearer picture of how technology bridges the gap between the physical and digital worlds
