After the successful pilot event last year, we’re excited to bring Level Up back to Brisbane! Join us for a tech career fair with a fun twist: four stages of content, opportunities to network and engage with industry leaders in the Level Up Zone, and the chance to explore the Supanova Expo ✨ Level Up will be taking place on Friday 7 November at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, and will be starting at 10am with sessions taking place till 6pm.

Speakers
With 25 years experience in television, radio and events, Adam loves curating challenging and thought-provoking conversations. He has interviewed prime ministers, Hollywood stars, Fortune 500 CEOs, Nobel Prize-winning scientists and Australians of the Year — and he was also the first person in the world to ever interview our legendary Thai cave rescuers.
Adam loves doing the research and crafting the narrative that helps people tell their story. He’s informative, fun and guaranteed to impart take-aways you’ve never heard before.
Now back in Brisbane, Craig is eager to collaborate with curious minds and mentor motivated students excited by the challenge of building the next generation of secure cryptographic tools.
Liam has held leadership roles in student-led initiatives and thrives in team environments where diverse ideas are turned to reality. He has led University teams to co-organise events that bring together students, academics and industry, helping foster connections and knowledge sharing across all areas of technology.
Liam is also the recipient of the ADF Future Innovator’s Award for working on an early flood warning app that was pitched to Brisbane City Council.
Currently serving as Engineering System Technical Lead at Origin Energy, Eric has built his career navigating both technical and operational roles while mastering stakeholder engagement and change management.
Throughout his multi-industry journey, Eric has demonstrated resilience and impact, positioning him as a thought leader in engineering career development. He stresses the importance of creative thinking and being able to collaborate effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
As a passionate advocate for the next generation of engineers, Eric speaks at industry events to showcase the exciting possibilities within engineering careers beyond traditional software development. He brings actionable insights on driving inclusive practices for innovation, future-proofing careers through strategic learning and leading with confidence through complex organisational change.
Eric's unique perspective on diverse engineering pathways makes him an invaluable voice in demonstrating how engineering professionals can build dynamic, cross-industry careers while contributing to technological advancement across multiple sectors.
She first decided to become an animator at age 13, drawn to the creative possibilities of the medium and its unique fusion of art, science, performance, and technology.
While she sometimes produces narrative content, much of her work focuses on scientific visualisation (especially in health, biology, and agriculture), showing how animation can be a powerful tool for education, communication, and making information more accessible.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys drawing, painting, and cosplay, and she’s a regular at Brisbane Supanova.
He joined ACS as ICT GISP manager in late 2024, and is a huge supporter of its mission to connect students with the in-demand career options that digital pathways provide. His passions also extend to Edunauts.net projects like the LoFi Airspace Youtube channel, as well as LEGO and learning about tech like VR, AR, AI and gaming.
His unique philosophy was born from a lifetime of diverse experiences as a school teacher, DJ, entertainer, theatre combat instructor, businessman, podcaster, and leather worker, all of which he has woven together to create something amazing.
What began as a spark of imagination has grown into a community where participants are not only learning skills but also discovering their confidence, resilience, and sense of belonging.

Passionate about creating online communities and engaging players through digital content, Ben is always seeking creative ways to further the success of indie games made right here in Queensland.
Kimberly completed her double degree in Information Technology and Creative Industries at QUT in 2021, with majors in Computer Science and Interactive & Visual Design. She was also the 2021 President of Women in Technology, a student society that aims to unite, inspire and empower strong like-minded females studying all things tech at QUT.
Still eager to get involved, Kimberly tutors as a Sessional Academic at QUT for a first-year 'Introduction to Web Design' unit. She is also a member of the ACS QLD Emerging Professionals Committee, an ambassador for the Faculty of Science at QUT, and a panel moderator or keynote speaker for various occasions.
In his current role with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine, Jonathan is responsible for developing and maintaining web & mobile applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success, and continuously learning to stay ahead of industry trends.
He is an active member of the Australian Computer Society Emerging Professionals Committee, contributing to the support and development of early-career professionals in the ICT industry. Jonathan's commitment to professional growth and his collaborative spirit highlight his dedication to both his personal development and the advancement of the tech community.
Her background includes working as an IT Customer Support Officer and upgrading her skills by volunteering at major technology conferences such as the ACS Tech Summit 2025 and AusCERT 2025. Beyond this, she is actively involved in leadership and volunteer roles. As Secretary of WinTECH and a Community & Events Volunteer with Cyber Security Champions of Tomorrow (CSCoT), Sadia helps organise events, engage students, and connect with industry partners. She also supports new students through her roles as a Student Mentor and Buddy Leader at CQU.
Sadia is committed to building inclusive communities in technology and encouraging the next generation to explore and thrive in the field of cyber security.

Registration
- Payment in full is required the time of booking in order for the registration to be valid.
- To avoid disappointment, ensure you pay for your booking(s) before the registration closing date. Anyone that has not received a confirmation email will not be on the event attendance list and therefore will not be admitted to the event.
- Online registration ends at the time stated on the event details page.
Cancellation and Refund
All cancellations must be processed through the website, a refund will only be considered if it is at least 3 working days prior to the event.
Disclaimer
- ACS reserves the right to change the program at any time. Every effort will be made to ensure a program of equivalent standard and members are updated with changes.
- All dietary requirements are considered, however we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen free environment.
- ACS reserves the right to prohibit entry or eject any person from an ACS event based on behaviour deemed inappropriate by ACS staff, its agents and/or others working under its authority.
- Filming or streaming by attendees is not permitted. If an attendee is found to be doing so they will be asked to leave the event immediately and further action may be taken.
- Photography and/or filming may take place during this event, by accepting these terms you consent to this. Please let a member of ACS know if you do not want your picture taken.
COVID-19 Event Attendance Compliance
By registering to attend an ACS in person event you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions
- If an attendee is displaying flu or cold like symptoms in the days leading up to the event and therefore is not able to attend, ACS will refund the registration fee.
- If an attendee comes to an event and is displaying flu or cold like symptoms they will be asked to leave
- We ask all ACS members to respect the social distancing guidelines, if an attendee repeatedly disregards these guidelines, they may be asked to leave
- ACS reserves the right to cancel the event within 24 hours' notice if either the speaker or the event host has advised us that they are exhibiting flu or cold like symptoms
- All attendees must provide a valid phone number and email address to be contacted on if there is reason to notify about a possible COVID-19 exposure
