Inherent flaws in passwords make them easily exploitable, with many passwords being easy to guess or obtain through data breaches. Join ACS and guest speaker, Toby Allen Solutions Engineer, Okta, as we discuss the future of customer authentication as organisations move towards a passwordless world

Credential stuffing attacks are a common and effective way for attackers to exploit weak or re-used passwords. These attacks involve using lists of leaked or commonly used passwords to gain unauthorized access to user accounts. Passwords are the root cause of over 80% of data breaches.

It’s time to get rid of passwords and Passkeys are the way to go. Passkeys are a phishing-resistant alternative to passwords that offer an easier and more secure login experience to users. Using a passkey is as simple as unlocking your phone. And once created, the same passkey can be used across all your devices in the same ecosystem.

Supporting Passkeys on your customer facing applications allow you to offer convenient digital experience to your customers regardless of their device to drive conversion, retention, and loyalty.

In this presentation, Toby will delve into the intricacies of passkeys for consumer authentication, shedding light on its benefits, implementation strategies, and the impact it will have on cybersecurity landscapes across industries. Toby’s presentation will discuss:

The driving forces behind the move towards passwordless authentication and its significance in the modern digital ecosystem.

Explore how passkeys mitigate common security vulnerabilities associated with traditional password-based systems, offering robust protection against cyber threats.

Discover how passkeys prioritize user experience by eliminating the frustration of passwords, while simultaneously enhancing security and convenience.

Whether you're a cybersecurity professional, IT leader, or business executive, this event promises to provide valuable insights and actionable takeaways to navigate the journey to passkeys effectively. Don't miss this opportunity to future-proof your organization and revolutionize your approach to authentication. Join us as we embark on the exciting journey towards a passwordless future.
