Set to take place in Brisbane between 8-10 November at Supanova’s milestone 100th event, this immersive and action-packed day promises to be an unforgettable journey into the thrilling world of creativity, gaming and technology!
The Level Up Career Extravaganza offers students, graduates and and career-changers a range of opportunities such as:
• 4 stages featuring tech career sessions including Career Pathways into a large
range of different tech careers, LinkedIn tips and tricks, How to network to
grow your connections, Blender demos, and more.
• Engage with industry contacts via the Level Up Zone, powered by ACS
where you can build your network and possibly meet your future employer.
• Visit and engage with a variety of creative vendors and makers.
The Level Up Career Extravaganza will create a unique career fair experience for students currently studying technology from universities and TAFE where they can network with industry and hear a range of seminar sessions that will assist with their own career direction. It will also provide an opportunity for anyone interested in technology to ask questions to educators and industry on how to pursue a career in the wonderful world of digital.

The event showcases aspiring talent, artists and creators offering them a unique opportunity to connect with a like-minded community of enthusiasts. Speakers
After graduating with a Civil Engineering degree from QUT, Emma worked in the construction industry before spending two years working as the General Manager of a youth leadership organisation. She joined Real Serious Games in 2010, working cross-functionally with developers, 3D artists and production staff to deliver products for clients. She oversees the coordination and management of projects and handles client interactions by virtue of her technical knowledge and communication skills.
In her role as the Operations Manager of the XR Hub, Emma is developing activities and networks, to help educate the industry and promote the capability that is growing in the Queensland XR ecosystem.
With a strong background in requirements gathering, process mapping, and business requirement prototyping, Miesha has a proven track record of creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation. This role also involves managing and executing testing processes, ensuring project alignment with business goals, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.
In addition to his professional endeavours, Miesha is an active member of the ACS Emerging Professionals Committee. This committee focuses on supporting early-career professionals in the ICT industry through networking opportunities, professional development, and industry insights.
I previously was a producer at Toast VR (known for Richie's Plank Experience), on their new title Max Mustard and was an Operational manager at Zero Latency.
I have previously completed a bachelor of Serious Games Design with a minor in Marketing and Interactive Narrative. Additionally, an honours in Games Design. I have published research “Establishing a conceptual framework for the creation of an open-source independent video games’ as part of the Proceedings of the Inaugural Experimental Game Design Conference 2021.
When he's not at work, you’ll find him enjoying Korean BBQ with his wife, watching pro wrestling on the couch, or reading to his 3-year-old son.

Registration
- Payment in full is required the time of booking in order for the registration to be valid.
- To avoid disappointment, ensure you pay for your booking(s) before the registration closing date. Anyone that has not received a confirmation email will not be on the event attendance list and therefore will not be admitted to the event.
- Online registration ends at the time stated on the event registration page.
Cancellation and Refund
All cancellations must be processed through the website, a refund will only be considered if it is at least 3 working days prior to the event.
Disclaimer
- ACS reserves the right to change the program at any time. Every effort will be made to ensure a program of equivalent standard and members are updated with changes.
- All dietary requirements are considered, however we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen free environment.
- ACS reserves the right to prohibit entry or eject any person from an ACS event based on behaviour deemed inappropriate by ACS staff, its agents and/or others working under its authority.
- Filming or streaming by attendees is not permitted. If an attendee is found to be doing so they will be asked to leave the event immediately and further action may be taken.
- Photography and/or filming may take place during this event, by accepting these terms you consent to this. Please let a member of ACS know if you do not want your picture taken.
COVID-19 Event Attendance Compliance
By registering to attend an ACS in person event you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions
- If an attendee is displaying flu or cold like symptoms in the days leading up to the event and therefore is not able to attend, ACS will refund the registration fee.
- If an attendee comes to an event and is displaying flu or cold like symptoms they will be asked to leave
- We ask all ACS members to respect the social distancing guidelines, if an attendee repeatedly disregards these guidelines, they may be asked to leave
- ACS reserves the right to cancel the event within 24 hours' notice if either the speaker or the event host has advised us that they are exhibiting flu or cold like symptoms
- All attendees must provide a valid phone number and email address to be contacted on if there is reason to notify about a possible COVID-19 exposure
