Come and meet Arron Patterson, Chief Technology Officer Lead for Dell EMC - Asia Pacific and Japan Commercial to discuss how Dell EMC are powering your private, public and hybrid clouds both now and in the future. We&#39;ll be discussing the history and current state of cloud technology, how we&#39;re developing and deploying this today, and what the near future holds for us. Arron Patterson

Arron Patterson

Arron Patterson is the Chief Technology Officer Lead for the Commercial division at Dell EMC across APJ and has been with the company since March 2005. He was appointed to his current role in February 2017.

Patterson is responsible for ensuring customers and partners view Dell EMC as a strategic technology provider that is relevant to their Digital transformation & Cloud Journey. He leads the Field CTO team across the APJ Commercial business, driving engagements with strategic accounts and mentoring / enabling the Presales workforce. He also helps to establish, articulate and communicate the company’s technical vision and strategic direction by interacting with the various business, research and development teams within Dell EMC and presenting at conferences and events.

Outside of his role at Dell EMC Patterson is also an Angel investor / mentor / advisor in the start-up space with some of the most active business angels - bringing a wide range of skill sets and experience to start-up and SME companies.

Patterson worked toward a B.Sc. degree majoring in chemistry from the University of Auckland, has a certificate in Company Directorship from the Institute of Directors and outside work enjoys experimenting with tech, riding motorcycles, staying active with outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends

COVID-19 Event Attendance Compliance

By registering to attend an ACS in person event you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions

  • If an attendee is displaying flu or cold like symptoms in the days leading up to the event and therefore is not able to attend, ACS will refund the registration fee.
  • If an attendee comes to an event and is displaying flu or cold like symptoms they will be asked to leave
  • We ask all ACS members to respect the social distancing guidelines, if an attendee repeatedly disregards these guidelines, they may be asked to leave
  • ACS reserves the right to cancel the event within 24 hours' notice if either the speaker or the event host has advised us that they are exhibiting flu or cold like symptoms
  • All attendees must provide a valid phone number and email address to be contacted on if there is reason to notify about a possible COVID-19 exposure
