This is your opportunity to take advantage of continue your journey of personal and professional development through ACS Toastmasters!<br><br>As the foundation of your career journey, this program is designed to help you build the competencies you need to communicate and lead.<br><br>For those who are interested in become a member of Toastmasters, please return the completed membership application form and send to acscanb@acs.org.au. We will submit your application to the International Toastmasters for the process provided you have paid club membership fee.  <br><br><b>How does ACS Canberra Toastmasters work?</b><br>Every Toastmasters journey begins with a single speech. During their journey, <ul><li>They learn to tell their stories. They listen and answer.</li><li>They learn by regularly giving speeches, gaining feedback to improving their communication skills.</li><li>They plan and lead. They give feedback and accept it. PY Students please note:   ACS Toastmasters welcomes and encourages PY students to attend the meetings.  However, from 1st June 2017 you are reminded that the Toastmasters meetings will not have the CPD hours counted towards your ACS PY Events requirement. This is because in order to benefit from effective personal development, this program required members’ time commitment to prepare for presentations and regularly attending to these meetings.  As a casual visitor there is no direct educational benefit in attending this meeting.

  • Guests are allowed to attend to up to two meetings without joining the club.
  • The ACS Canberra Toastmasters Club fee is $11 per month with a $30 joining fee (once off).
* To help with registration and checking in; please bring your “Event confirmation - QR code” either in print or in electronic format, ready to be scanned at the door. It will only take a few seconds of your time.
