<img alt="User-added image" src="https://acsau--c.ap1.content.force.com/servlet/servlet.ImageServer?id=0159000000FdaZu&amp;oid=00D90000000o5NE&amp;lastMod=1522988557000"></img><br><br>Every year, ACS Young IT and ACS Women (WA) join forces in a unique occasion that celebrates the success of Women in ICT and brings inspiring role models to young women looking to a future as ICT Professionals, this year we’ve also partnered with IIBA WA.<br><br>We’ll bring you two female presenters who have reached success in their career and will be sharing from their past experiences to guide and inspire the professionals of tomorrow.<br> <br><b>SPEAKERS</b><br><br>Sarah has been a business analyst since starting work in 1995. She has worked in a number of different business areas in the UK including local government, the armed forces, prisons, probation, police and courts.  Since moving to Perth in 2011 she has worked in financial services. <br> <br>She has worked on a variety of projects over the years including system enhancements, application of new legislative requirements to processes and systems, and Business Transformation &quot;let&#39;s replace X number of old systems with a shiny new system&quot; projects.  She has worked on major waterfall and agile projects and has taken on the product owner role. She has been involved in almost all tasks a BA might be expected to do and a whole lot more.<br> <br>Sarah is highly qualified with a BA (Hons) in Commerce, a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Systems, an Advanced Diploma in Management, and a professional certificate in Business Analysis from George Washington University. She became a Certified Scrum Product Owner in 2012 and obtained her CBAP in 2013.  She has done pro bono BA work and was also one of the volunteer reviewers of the BABOK version 3.<br><br><b>Marie Pillay</b><br>Graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Information Systems (Hons) and a Master of Management Information Systems specializing in Enterprise Systems in 2014, I have battled my way through to find the right opportunity to help me become a Business Analyst. Now I am a Business Analyst for CRM Projects and enjoy my role and the challenges it brings to my daily activities.<br><br>

  • ACS reserves the right to change the program at any time. Every effort will be made to ensure a program of equivalent standard and members are updated with changes.

  • ACS reserves the right to prohibit entry or eject any person from an ACS event based on behaviour deemed inappropriate by ACS staff, its agents and/or others working under its authority.
  • Filming or streaming by attendees is not permitted. If an attendee is found to be doing so they will be asked to leave the event immediately and further action may be taken.
  • Photography and/or filming may take place during this event, by accepting these terms you consent to this. Please let a member of ACS know if you do not want your picture taken.

COVID-19 Event Attendance Compliance

By registering to attend an ACS in person event you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions

  • If an attendee is displaying flu or cold like symptoms in the days leading up to the event and therefore is not able to attend, ACS will refund the registration fee.
  • If an attendee comes to an event and is displaying flu or cold like symptoms they will be asked to leave
  • We ask all ACS members to respect the social distancing guidelines, if an attendee repeatedly disregards these guidelines, they may be asked to leave
  • ACS reserves the right to cancel the event within 24 hours' notice if either the speaker or the event host has advised us that they are exhibiting flu or cold like symptoms
  • All attendees must provide a valid phone number and email address to be contacted on if there is reason to notify about a possible COVID-19 exposure

Personal information collection notice

By registering for this event, you are providing personal information to the Australian Computer Society. In accordance with the ACS Privacy Policy, ACS collects personal information through registrations and attendances at its events for the purposes of:

When you register to participate in an overseas event, we may send personal information we collect overseas.
