Amit Banerji

Amit Banerji

Amit is an experienced Management Consultant who, for the past 25 years, has specialized in the practical application of Project Management. Amit is a Director and founder of PMWorks. His principal responsibilities include the general management of PMWorks as well as providing support and guidance  on consulting engagements.

Over the years, Amit has held senior management positions in the consulting divisions of Coopers & Lybrand, KPMG Peat Marwick, Oracle and Hitachi Data Systems. He was also one of the founding partners of the specialist Project Management firm, EQuest Consulting, which was successfully sold in 2007.

In Amit’s rather limited spare time, he has been known to dabble in the kitchen, where he treats cooking as his recreational therapy. As a self-confessed history buff, he also has a peculiar aptitude for remembering obtuse facts and dates in history, often to the frustration of his family and colleagues.

Amit is also a keen amateur astronomer and is looking forward to upgrading his current telescope to one that is far more serious (and far more expensive!).
