ACS Tech: Protect against Ransomware
Join our expert speaker Ashwin Pal MACS CP as he takes you through 3 practical steps on how to protect your business against cyber attacks and ransomware
About this event
In 2021, it is expected that a company will be hit by a ransomware attack every 11 seconds. With the COVID crisis and the evolution to remote working, cybercriminals have started to attack every virtual entity.
Ransomware is in every medium and we hear about a new ransomware victim every week. Unfortunately, for every case we hear, there are probably 50 others that we don’t hear about.
Regardless of a company’s size or industry, no organisation is immune to a ransomware attack, which makes it essential to implement steps to protect yourself.
But where to start?
This session will discuss what ransomware is and how it propagates. It will also give you some simple steps an organisation can take to protect itself.
This session aims at giving ICT professionals actionable tools to protect their systems and insure the safety of their data.
