About this event

Cities are complex places, with the promise of emerging technology shifting the status quo very attractive to many local governments around the world.

Tegan Kop will take you through what City of Melbourne have found out through their Emerging Technology testbed function so far, and what they plan to do about it. Tegan will share their insights and learnings on IoT, 5G, video analytics and other emerging tech and how it relates to cities and more specifically Melbourne.

Due to the recent changes in Victoria, this event will now be taking place online only, and will not be hosted at the ACS Melbourne Innovation Hub.

Notice for all attendees including ACS Professional Year Students
When attending virtual events, to claim and qualify for the required CPD hours, Professional Year students need to attend the online event in its entirety, which will be tracked by the ACS events team.

If a cloaking software program is used when connecting to an online event, your attendance cannot be recorded and CPD hours cannot be allocated. This does not include the use of VPN.

Please allow up to 2 weeks for CPD hours to be allocated to your membership profile. The presentation hand out won't be provided post-event, but you will receive a recording of the event. Answers to questions from the webinar will be forwarded on once received.
