<span style="font-size: 11pt;"><span><span style="font-family: Calibri,sans-serif;">Presented by Francois Botes, Managing Director, Peta Cloud, this seminar will provide an understanding of what Quantum Computing is and the technology elements that makes up this diverse disruptor offering.</span></span></span><br><br><span style="font-size: 11pt;"><span><span style="font-family: Calibri,sans-serif;">In this session we will be discussing:</span></span></span> <ul><li><span style="font-size: 11pt;"><span><span style="font-family: Calibri,sans-serif;">What is Quantum Compute;</span></span></span></li><li><span style="font-size: 11pt;"><span><span style="font-family: Calibri,sans-serif;">Description of Quanta; </span></span></span></li><li><span style="font-size: 11pt;"><span><span style="font-family: Calibri,sans-serif;">Description of Compute; and</span></span></span></li><li><span style="font-size: 11pt;"><span><span style="font-family: Calibri,sans-serif;">How does Quantum Compute bring Super-positioning, Entanglement and Quantum Gates and Tunnelling.</span></span></span></li></ul> <span style="font-size: 11pt;"><span><span style="font-family: Calibri,sans-serif;"><span style="color: black;">Francois will step through the different kinds of Quantum Computers, including:</span></span></span></span> <ul><li><span style="font-size: 11pt;"><span><span style="font-family: Calibri,sans-serif;">Noisy Intermediate-scale Quantum (NISQ);</span></span></span></li><li><span style="font-size: 11pt;"><span><span style="font-family: Calibri,sans-serif;">Quantum Annealers (QA’s);</span></span></span></li><li><span style="font-size: 11pt;"><span><span style="font-family: Calibri,sans-serif;">Quantum Simulators; and</span></span></span></li><li><span style="font-size: 11pt;"><span><span style="font-family: Calibri,sans-serif;">Topological Qubits (TQ’s). </span></span></span></li></ul> <span style="font-size: 11pt;"><span><span style="font-family: Calibri,sans-serif;">Francois will also explain the importance of Algorithms in an Algorithm Zoo, including Deutsch-Jozsa Problem, Shor’s Algorithms and Grover’s Search Algorithm.</span></span></span><br><br><span style="font-size: 11pt;"><span><span style="font-family: Calibri,sans-serif;">Finally, the presentation will also explore getting started in Quantum Compute as a Service, including Quantum domains of expertise, skills and education required for a career in Quantum, and what’s next on the horizon for this ground breaking technology.</span></span></span><br><br>Please note 5:30pm registration for 6:00pm start.
