About this event

ACS Workshops will facilitate learning with “key takeaways” that are “actionable”, whereby participants can take back learnings to their respective organisations and/or roles.

The workshops will be delivered by professional facilitators and will provide direct access to high quality peer networking opportunities as well as key business leaders across the ICT industry. Each participant will have the opportunity to create and develop a personal action plan throughout the series, which aims to provide participants with real, tangible outcomes to accelerate their career growth. Workshops will range from 15-25 participants at each session.

It is envisaged that members may not attend all four workshops, and therefore these have been designed with this in mind.

Workshop 3 - Designing Inclusive and Compelling Virtual Environments
In the context of collaboration, organisations are endeavoring to design and manage places that meet the needs of diverse people to create more inclusive and compelling environments.

There is a clear intercept between building virtual environments using technology tools and platforms, and how these can become relevant and remain inclusive of broad audiences. The question is, can we overthink the use of technologies in relation to bringing teams together and creating and exploring new avenues to create value in these agile environments?

Join ACS Victoria Diversity & Inclusion Chair, Cynthia Lee where she will workshop with attendees;

  • What is an inclusive team?
  • Forms of interactions in the workplace (formal & informal)
  • Workforce trends (flexibility, mobility, globalisation)
  • How does this impact each of these interaction types?
  • Solutions
    • Lo-fi tactics vs. tech solutions and strategic policies
    • As an individual, team lead or senior manager
