<p>ACS Workshops will facilitate learning with “key takeaways” that are “actionable”, whereby participants can take back learnings to their respective organisations and/or roles.<br><br>ACS Victoria will run four Diversity and Inclusion workshops throughout the year, and the benchmark duration for each is two hours. Workshops will range from 20-30 participants at each session.<br><br>It is envisaged that members may not attend all four workshops, and therefore these have been designed with this in mind.<br><br><b><u>Workshop 1 - Unconscious Bias</u></b><br>Unconscious bias is the prejudice or favoritism that we unknowingly exercise about those around us. Nicola’s research draws from both local & international Academics as well as some of the most progressive organisations and deep dives into what’s holding us back, and how recruitment plays an important role in the Diversity & Inclusion Space. Prior to SEEK, Nicola has over 14 years in Recruitment with a specialisation in Graduate Programs, working with both State & Federal Government & Corporate Clients.

COVID-19 Event Attendance Compliance

By registering to attend an ACS in person event you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions

  • If an attendee is displaying flu or cold like symptoms in the days leading up to the event and therefore is not able to attend, ACS will refund the registration fee.
  • If an attendee comes to an event and is displaying flu or cold like symptoms they will be asked to leave
  • We ask all ACS members to respect the social distancing guidelines, if an attendee repeatedly disregards these guidelines, they may be asked to leave
  • ACS reserves the right to cancel the event within 24 hours' notice if either the speaker or the event host has advised us that they are exhibiting flu or cold like symptoms
  • All attendees must provide a valid phone number and email address to be contacted on if there is reason to notify about a possible COVID-19 exposure
