Equal Reality creates soft skills training simulations in Virtual Reality (VR) that enable anyone to "walk a mile in someone else's shoes", unlocking new perspectives, increasing empathy and making real-time decisions in a risk-free space. Allison Reid, VR Solutions Architect, will reveal why VR is the most powerful tool on the market today for organisations looking to promote positive cultural change, increased employee engagement, and improved customer relationships. Participants will be guided through real-world examples of VR training success stories and a preview of how Equal Reality is working to break down the barriers of entry for individuals and organisations looking to create their own VR training content.You will also be able to try on the goggles and experience this technology for yourself. Ticket includes canapes, beverages and networking session. Speaker	Allison Reid Allison spent her early career managing key global accounts at New York City’s FedEx before pivoting to a career in design. She obtained her BA in International Relations from Stanford University; later obtaining her MFA in Fashion Design where she examined the potential impacts emerging technologies could have on the industry’s most destructive systems. Drawn to immersive computing, Allison went on to co-found a VR/AR production company in Sydney, Australia, serving as COO and Lead Producer. COVID-19 Event Attendance Compliance

By registering to attend an ACS in person event you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions

If an attendee is displaying flu or cold like symptoms in the days leading up to the event and therefore is not able to attend, ACS will refund the registration fee.
If an attendee comes to an event and is displaying flu or cold like symptoms they will be asked to leave
We ask all ACS members to respect the social distancing guidelines, if an attendee repeatedly disregards these guidelines, they may be asked to leave
ACS reserves the right to cancel the event within 24 hours' notice if either the speaker or the event host has advised us that they are exhibiting flu or cold like symptoms
All attendees must provide a valid phone number and email address to be contacted on if there is reason to notify about a possible COVID-19 exposure
