ACS SA&#39;s IT Project Management Community is showcasing &quot;Scrum Overview and new ways of working&quot; on Monday 4th March!<br><br>Join us to hear from industry leaders and experts as they provide more insight into the ever changing world of Project Management and beyond.<br><br>This month we feature:<br><br><b><span style="color: black;">&quot;Scrum Overview and new ways of working&quot;</span></b><br><span style="color: black;">Manifesto for Agile Software Development celebrated its 18<sup>th</sup> birthday this February!</span><br><span style="color: black;">Scrum, as one of the industry leading Agile approaches encourages new ways of working that align well with the 4<sup>th</sup> industrial revolution that we are living in now. (4<sup>th</sup> industrial revolution deals with ‘Complex problems’ such as robotics, nanotechnology, quantum computing, industrial IoT etc.)</span><br><span style="color: black;">This session will provide an overview of Scrum and the essential elements of Scrum including when to, and when not to use Scrum using a sense-making model. </span><br><span style="color: black;">The session is intended for people who are new to Scrum as well as seasoned practitioners to critically assess their level of consciousness. </span><br> <br><b><span style="color: black;">Guest Speaker: Yohan De Silva, Scrum Master, SA Power Networks.</span></b><br><span style="color: black;">Project Manager turned Scrum Master, Yohan De Silva is a Pragmatic Agilist.</span><br><span style="color: black;">At SA Power Networks, the electricity distributor for South Australia, he currently acts as the Scrum Master for 3 - 4 IT value streams delivering Enterprise Systems (SAP) and Digital based solutions.</span><br><span style="color: black;">Yohan has nearly 10 years of experience in managing and leading projects and serving project teams from simple website developments to multi-million-dollar ERP implementations. </span><br><span style="color: black;">Yohan is an Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Agile Project Management Practitioner (AgilePM) and a certified PRINCE2 practitioner.   • Filming or streaming by attendees is not permitted. If an attendee is found to be doing so they will be asked to leave the event immediately and further action may be taken.
  • Photography and/or filming may take place during this event, by accepting these terms you consent to this. Please let a member of ACS know if you do not want your picture taken.

COVID-19 Event Attendance Compliance

By registering to attend an ACS in person event you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions

  • If an attendee is displaying flu or cold like symptoms in the days leading up to the event and therefore is not able to attend, ACS will refund the registration fee.
  • If an attendee comes to an event and is displaying flu or cold like symptoms they will be asked to leave
  • We ask all ACS members to respect the social distancing guidelines, if an attendee repeatedly disregards these guidelines, they may be asked to leave
  • ACS reserves the right to cancel the event within 24 hours' notice if either the speaker or the event host has advised us that they are exhibiting flu or cold like symptoms
  • All attendees must provide a valid phone number and email address to be contacted on if there is reason to notify about a possible COVID-19 exposure
