<p><b>***THIS EVENT HAS NOW SOLD OUT***</b><br><br>Our Young Professionals Half-Day Summit includes three sessions hosted by accomplished industry professionals who share their expertise in what it takes to stand out as an emerging tech professional.<br><br>As the next generation of leaders in our industry, this event improves your interpersonal skills to network, undertake mentoring and get that dream job you&#39;ve been looking for.<br><br><b>Agenda</b><br>8:30am - 9:00am: Registration and networking<br>9:00am - 10:10am: Session 1<br><u><i>9:00am - 9:20am: Late Registration (attendees who arrive after 9:20am will not receive any of the 6 CPD hours).</i></u><br>10:20am - 11:20am: Session 2<br>11:20am - 11:50am: Light snack and networking. Leonie is a qualified Trainer, Speaker, HR Consultant and Career Coach. She has previously held Training and HR positions at Westpac, Commonwealth Bank, Veolia Water and Western Sydney University. She is also the Director of a training and coaching business called My Focus. 

In 2017, she was nominated for the Australian Leadership Excellence Awards, out of 42 nominations, she achieved 6th place in the category of Owner/Entrepreneur Leader of the Year.

As a Career Coach, she has helped more than 200 people secure employment in Australia.

Pallavi, a gold medalist in Bachelor Computer Applications, started her journey in Australia as an international student in 2017. She is a high achiever who had also been awarded with ‘Wg. Cdr. H S Gill Memorial Gold Medal’, for being the best all round student, by PCTE Group of Institutes. Pallavi has recently graduated with a Master of Information and Communications Technology (Advanced) from Western Sydney University (WSU). At WSU, she had been on various committees including the ‘Vice-Chancellor’s International Student Advisory Committee’ and a part of various programs such as ‘Women in Science and Engineering’. 

Pallavi is highly passionate about public speaking and interacting with people. She has delivered various speeches, webinars and podcasts on topics related to international students and women in STEM. Considering the decrease in the number of females pursuing ICT related professions, Pallavi is particularly interested in communicating her technical skills through her communication skills and encouraging women to participate in careers related to ICT. She highly believes that every person can be successful through a right mindset and support.

  • ACS reserves the right to prohibit entry or eject any person from an ACS event based on behaviour deemed inappropriate by ACS staff, its agents and/or others working under its authority.
  • Filming or streaming by attendees is not permitted. If an attendee is found to be doing so they will be asked to leave the event immediately and further action may be taken.
  • Photography and/or filming may take place during this event, by accepting these terms you consent to this. Please let a member of ACS know if you do not want your picture taken.

COVID-19 Event Attendance Compliance

By registering to attend an ACS in person event you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions

  • If an attendee is displaying flu or cold like symptoms in the days leading up to the event and therefore is not able to attend, ACS will refund the registration fee.
  • If an attendee comes to an event and is displaying flu or cold like symptoms they will be asked to leave
  • We ask all ACS members to respect the social distancing guidelines, if an attendee repeatedly disregards these guidelines, they may be asked to leave
  • ACS reserves the right to cancel the event within 24 hours' notice if either the speaker or the event host has advised us that they are exhibiting flu or cold like symptoms
  • All attendees must provide a valid phone number and email address to be contacted on if there is reason to notify about a possible COVID-19 exposure
