Diversity encompasses race, gender, ethnic group, age, personality, function, education, background and more. But how far have we actually come to ensure that we are continuing to recognise individual differences and eradicating prejudice?
Join us for a morning of networking and insight alongside 140+ ICT professionals from across the business, government and education sectors, as we hear from a panel of diversity champions who will share their opinions and views.
Last week, we confirmed Matt Lee, Chief Executive Officer of OACIS, a Clinical Information System, as a panelist for the special breakfast event. Matt has held various senior executive roles at some of the most recognised brands in the world with Virgin Atlantic Airways and Qantas Airways. Matt is an advocate for diversity and has worked to ensure his senior teams had an equal gender balance. As a father of three girls and two boys, Matt’s strong beliefs around diversity and inclusion are also founded on hopes for a future where all of his children have equal opportunities and earning potential.
Also taking to the panel on Wednesday 22 February will be Rohini Kappadath, Senior Adviser to the India Business Practise at KPMG. Rohini brings 28 years of experience in working with businesses within Australia, India, ASEAN, China, Japan and New Zealand, to clients interested in accessing Asian markets or investing in Australia. Rohini is currently Chair of the Multicultural Ministerial Business Advisory Council.
Also, introducing to you our most recent panelist, Ajay Bhatia, Chief Product and Information Officer at Carsales.com. Ajay has over 18 years of industry experience with 13 years of pure Digital Businesses. During this time, he has held several technical and commercial leadership positions ranging from GM Commercial, Product Director and Technology Director to CIO.
Further panelists will be announced in the coming weeks.
