Debra Murphy has been the Chief Executive Officer of the Illawarra Business Chamber since August 2013. She has over 15 years senior management experience, including roles with BHP Billiton, Thiess and Australian Industry Group.

Debra is a strategic influencer, and has been a driving force for regulatory change and infrastructure projects. She is passionate about building business through communication.

Debra has an MBA with merit. She is well known in the Illawarra as an active contributor to several economic development initiatives and advisory boards.
