Happy New Year from the Victorian Chair

Thursday, 14 Jan 2016

Welcome to 2016! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday period and are excited about this year.

2016 will be a busy year for ACS as we look forward to celebrating our 50th year. We have a number of initiatives, activities and events organised to celebrate this special milestone in our history. We will celebrate our past, showcase the present, and share our plans for the future.

The Victorian branch has a busy calendar of events planned for 2016 which includes various workshops, forums, professional development courses and activities that will beneficial to each and every one of you.

We have kicked off the year by opening applications for our third round of the Victorian Mentoring Program. This is such a valuable program that we hope we can build on. Be sure to contact T'arne (tarne.whelan@acs.org.au) at the Victorian Branch is you wish to participate in the program.

I will keep in regular contact throughout the year and keep you up to date with industry insights, new services and programs and member offerings. I would urge you to share this weekly e-News bulletin with your colleagues and encourage them to become members of ACS - their professional association.

I'm really looking forward to working with you all in 2016! See you at the first branch forum in February.

Remember, if you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact a Victoria branch staff member on 03 9249 6700 or acsvic@acs.org.au.

Kind regards,

Craig Horne
