ABOUT THIS EVENT

Austrade invites Australian cyber security firms to join a targeted mission, led by Alastair MacGibbon, Special Adviser to the Prime Minister on Cyber Security to attend RSA San Francisco and participate in a program of networking events, briefings and introductions to key American cyber security firms and customers.

The San Francisco Bay Area is world-renowned as a hub of innovation and technology, cyber security is no exception. The Bay Area has the most cyber security firms in the United States and receives the most venture capital investment in the country, with US$12 billion invested in the first two quarters of 2016.

2017 marks the 26th anniversary for the RSA Conference, which is the world’s leading information security conference and exposition. The 2016 RSA Conference in San Francisco had over 40,000 attendees. The conference is vendor-independent and managed by RSA, the Security Division of Dell EMC. The multi-day event consists of the conference, which hosts speakers on a variety of industry relevant topics and a vender expo (with 400+ vendors).
