ACS Victoria celebrates the final Branch Forum for 2016

Thursday, 17 Nov 2016

On Tuesday 15 November, 170 individuals gathered at the final Branch Forum for 2016.

Alison Hardacre, Co-Founder of HealthKit, familiarised us with the all-in-one platform that she co-created for private practitioners and patients.

Alison’s thought provoking presentation identified that with health being the last industry to be digitised, only 11% of practitioners (globally) are using practice management software. With practitioners wasting on average one hour per day on administration that they complete themselves, they could potentially be spending this time with patients.

Before the networking began, Craig Horne, Chair of the ACS Victoria Branch Executive Committee (BEC) celebrated the 2016 Victorian Branch achievements. Incoming Chair for 2017/18, Maria Markman, also addressed the audience before thanking Craig for his ongoing service to the Victorian Branch during his term as Chair.

ACS Victoria would like to thank all members and guests who attended and are looking forward to introducing next year’s Branch Forum speakers over the coming months.
