Owned and operated by ACS, Harbour City Labs offers an innovative and collaborative co-working space for Australian start-ups.

Khimji brings 30 years of experience in innovation and entrepreneurship to his new role, having worked across banking, telecommunications, defence, manufacturing, research and development, energy, government and academia, as well as numerous start-ups. In 2010, he was nominated as Australian Innovator of the Year.

On the appointment, RCL CEO Peta Ellis said: “Khimji has an enviable track record when it comes to fostering innovation and growth in the tech community. For Australia to produce world-stage tech brands, our innovation ecosystem needs to align around the highest potential startups, and Harbour City Labs provides the perfect location.”

“Khimji’s previous experience of working with the NSW Data Analytics Centre will stand him in good stead for Head of Growth. He is uniquely positioned to take on the role of leading and mentoring our startups to ensure they reach their full potential. I look forward to working with him and celebrating his success.”
