Queensland’s Digital, Innovation and Technology Festival to happen this October

Something Fest., October’s week-long festival bringing together Queensland’s digital, innovation and technology communities, was launched at Brisbane’s Princess Theatre last night.
The festival, a collaboration between Something Digital, River City Labs and Proptech BNE, will showcase Queensland’s leading digital, Innovation and technology with a range of events spanning from workshops, networking events and forums to the annual RiverPitch startup event across five days between October 24 and 28.
The week will kick off with Something Digital which will bring together the entire digital innovation ecosystem - from startups and small business to large corporations, government and educational institutions. Over 4 days, Something Digital will feature: Roundtables, a 2-day flagship Conference, Open Studios and The Something School.
Half-way through the week the festival will unite with a celebration of networking and collision as the Something Tech kicks off. Something Tech will focus on the Queensland technology and startup sectors demonstrating Technology solving industry problems, with tech showcases on the innovation out of Qld, supported by expert insights and panels.
Running under the Something Tech umbrella, Proptech BNE. will deliver our first industry deep dive, a half-day Founders' Conference for the Australian property technology economy. The finale of the week on Friday culminates in the 2022 RiverPitch which will see up to ten of the state’s star business founders pitch to a room of investors and the best of Australia’s startup ecosystem.
