ACS Professional Standards Scheme (PSS) Annual Declaration

The ACS PSS Annual Declaration is a new, mandatory requirement for CP members. It confirms your continuing commitment to professional development (CPD), professional ethics, and consumer protection under the Professional Standards Scheme (PSS). The Scheme caps civil liability for participating ACS CP members.

What we're asking you to do

Confirm your PSS participation or exemption status for the coming year, and your commitment to CP member professional standards.

Before you start
Most CPs complete the form in 10-15 minutes. Your progress will be automatically saved, so you can return to it later if needed.

Have your supporting documents handy

  • Your business' last tax return: If you owned a business or operated independently in the last financial year
  • Insurance documents: If you arrange your own insurance, your policy documents and premium details
  • Professional Indemnity (PI) Compliance checklist to help you review your professional indemnity (PI) insurance and PSS participation. Download PI Compliance checklist (PDF)

How we'll use your information

Your responses will be used to maintain your ACS Certified Professional and PSS records. Data will support ACS's reporting obligations to the Professional Standards Council (PSC). For more details, see the ACS Data Collection Notice on the next page.

Legal notice:

Giving false or misleading information in this Declaration can constitute a serious offence e.g. Crimes Act 1900 (NSW), section 307B.
