The results are in for the ACS Victoria Public Policy survey…

Thursday, 17 Sep 2015

During the month of August, the ACS Victoria Public Policy Committee asked you as a Victorian member, to share your notion on the topics you think we should discuss with the state government and raise awareness with the general public.

The survey was accessible over a period of 10 days and required members to rank the topics based on importance.

With over 400 members participating in the survey, there was a clear indication of what ACS members believe to be the five most important topics in the ICT profession.

The results are as follows:

  1. IT as a career
  2. Digital Curriculum in schools
  3. Defining IT skills and IT professionals
  4. Cyber Security
  5. Ethics and Privacy

All members who completed the survey went in the draw to win one of three iPad Mini’s. ACS would like to congratulate Rory Murphy MACS CP, Stephen D’Souza MACS and Marian Haringa AACS for being the three lucky recipients to win an iPad!

The Victorian Public Policy Committee looks forward to representing ACS Victoria to the public with the shared views listed above. Thank you to everyone who took the time to participate in the survey.
