Share your Cloud stories

Thursday, 10 Sep 2015

As ICT professionals, we are very aware of the impact of Cloud Computing on our organisations and social lives.

A research team at The University of Melbourne is looking for real life stories from those of you who have been involved in moving ICT infrastructure and services into the Cloud.

These stories will contribute to the production of various research outputs including a MOOC.

This will have two main emphases:

  1. Organisational preparations for transition to the Cloud through requirements and contract development; and
  2.  Re-engineering of business processes, governance models, workforce skills and structures required to optimise the return on investment.

Any stories collected will be treated with utmost sensitivity.

If any members have direct experience, either good or bad, in managing a move into the Cloud and would like to contribute, please contact T’arne Whelan at tarne.whelan@acs.org.au.
