On Wednesday 22 July, the University of Melbourne Department of Computing and Information Systems, held its 2015 CIS Doctoral Colloquium which showcased the PhD research that is currently under way. It consisted of a number of industry plenary sessions, student presentations, flash talks and a poster exhibition.
Dr Rod Dilnutt, Chair of the ACS Education Relations Committee, attended the Colloquium and presented the ACS certificate and prize for the overall highest performing student of 2014 to Mr Maxim Lobanov, who scored the highest overall marks in the Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Computing and Software Systems.
Maxim graduated in 2014 and is now employed as a Software Engineer at Deloitte Digital.
Maxim was awarded an ACS certificate, a complimentary 12 month membership and a $250 Myer gift voucher.
